Training & our History

DSB was founded by Tiffany in the early spring of 2002 on her farm in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta. Tiffany has always had a gift with horses. Tiffany began riding at a very early age on horses her Godfather had. Later on in life Tiffany started purchasing her own horses and developed a strong bond with them that allowed Tiffany to almost communicate with the them. Tiffany began training horses defined too "wild" for others to train. This became a calling for Tiffany and so began her journey. As a trainer,I try and focus on communication with the horses. I believe in learning through repeitition and a gentle hand. I have had the oppurtunity to work with many different breeds and ages.I try and get the owner involved as much as possible as he is the one who will continue to communicate and learn with the horse after it has left me. I have investigated many other types of training and I do follow my training technics with those of Mr. John Lyons of the U.S.A, I find his methods are based upon the same steps as my own. My husband Scott has been an incredible help, his firm but gentle nature has been a huge asset to the training program I have developed.
